Some of the early concepts i drew for the 3D Weapons I modelled can be found here, alongside some of the early designs for my college concept art project, including character and weapon designs!

Many of my weapon design concepts are inspired by monster hunter, and several of the new monsters featured in the (at the time) upcoming Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

A bowgun, one of the many weapons featured throughout the Monster Hunter series, based off the upcoming "Tetsucabra" monster, who's weapon designs were yet to be released, making this my personal original concept design for this monsters weapons. It features the Tetsucabra's iconic tusks.

Though there are no Halberds featured in the Monster Hunter series as of yet, this design is meant to be a new addition. Based on the new "Seregios" monster, it features it's iconic talons and sharp scales.

This design is probably the least original of my collection. Fitting into the "Longsword" class already in monster hunter and designed based on a "Rathalos", one of the first monsters to feature in Monster Hunter. Though it's actual design is my original work.

The next two designs didn't make it to my final cut, however they are both based on the same creature. Again, a new addition to the series the "Seltas". A large beetle like creature with a prominent horn, clearly immitated in the design of both weapons.

Left is the greatsword, whilst below we have a sword and shield design.

Nothing more than some early concept work I
had to do for college, I thought this went better
than expected.

Here are the two concepts I narrowed my choices down to from rough sketches for my concept art assignment. I would include my final designs but the college "misplaced" them.

On the left are some early designs of weapons I had to design for my college concept art unit, whilst below are the final ideas for the blade and hilt separately. Again, I'd have the final concepts if it weren't for the college "Misplacing" them. (Not at all bitter)

A simple Revolver image that, much like the scorpion, I simply feel turned out better than expected. One of my very first attempts at
detailed shading.
