About Me
Thanks for coming to this page to learn a little more about me

Though if reading about me doesn't entice you enough, then perhaps you'd enjoy listening to me tell you what you might like to know instead!

To get started just hit the play button below:

Starting with the obvious, my name is Ben Saint, I was born in 1995, in a small village called Grittleton. I was raised in the pub here in fact, the only local amenity. I’ve moved around plenty since those days, but for now I’m back here again following the end of my education at Abertay University in Dundee, though you can find more information on that in my Education section.
At this time, we’re currently amidst the coronavirus pandemic, and although I far prefer spending my time in cities where I can see people whenever I want and everything you could need is right on your doorstep, for now I’ll make do with talking to the chickens that live behind the garden.
You'll often find me with a coffee in hand, and I'm quite the fan of a suit, you may be able to tell from any photos of me I've got dotted around here. And as one could probably guess given my field of study, I like to spend much of my time playing games, especially given the current state of the world, who could say no to a little escapism at a time like this? I’ve always enjoyed pretty much every genre of video games, sometimes having more of an inclination towards one than another, but given the chance I will always choose to play a game I enjoy less, but can play with others, than any game on my own.
I’ve no siblings, and growing up here has led me to become quite a social-seeking being by nature, so as such, my drive in life mostly revolves around people, networking, and organization. But it wasn't until 2014 that I really discovered this when I first started studying Games Development at Chippenham College here in the UK. In fact, due to less than ideal experiences with education prior to this, I wasn't even sure what career I wished to pursue until I came across Chippenham College!
It was there I found my passion for all things team-management, not only through my course there but also through the numerous other activities/positions I find myself drawn to. Lots of student union involvement, and other various activities, all of which are detailed elsewhere so I shan't go into detail again here.
In short, I found what I loved, managing projects, liaising, and an all-round passion for organization, which certainly isn't limited to my professional life! I plan the hell out of everything I do, including my hobbies. In fact, I’ll include a recent example down below to show you what I mean, my flower farm plan for Animal Crossing. Safe to say I’ve always been the cool kid.
And so because of this, I chose to pursue a career as a Producer or Project Manager. I'm in my "zone" when given a goal to achieve, or problem to solve, and people to work with. My credentials regarding education and experience can obviously be found elsewhere on this website, but here I seek to present an explanation as to why I pursue this role. Someone who has a natural eye for drawing is far more likely to become an artist, and someone with a mind for numbers is likely to make an excellent accountant. These things can be taught to an extent, skills sharpened, and so on, but everyone has an affinity for something, and for me, it's all about planning, organization, and interacting with people. I promise I can still be fun at the office parties too though, just… let me help plan them too please.

I know there are tools for these things, I just can't resist a little DIY planning, back to basics.
